The LORD’s mercies indeed never cease,
For His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.”

~Lamentations 3:22-23~

Welcome to Dayton Avenue today – thank you for ending your year here in church.  If you are a first-time guest today, we are very glad you have chosen to worship with us.

Please stop in at the Welcome Desk and get a gift bag with a little loaf of homemade bread inside.  We hope you feel so welcomed that you’ll come back regularly in this coming year.

We will be observing the Lord’s Table – Communion – as the center of our worship today. We remember the cruelty of His Cross, the selflessness of His Sacrifice, and the magnitude of His Great Love for us.  Observing Communion is an act of obedience as well as a personal recommitment to live our lives for Jesus.  That is what true worship is really about – committed lives of service to our Savior. [note: the elements are gluten-free.]

I get to work alongside a great team of servants here at church: our office staff, custodians, pastoral staff, and also the MANY volunteers whose faithful labor of love keeps the ministries moving forward.  We truly have an amazing team… and an amazing church family.  You are a gift of God to me personally, and I thank you.  May God shine His face upon each of you in the days ahead until Jesus returns.  We love you!

There is something motivating about the beginning of a new year: a fresh start, hopeful possibilities, a new chapter.  May God bless you abundantly as you live for Him in this coming year.

Happy New Year!
