The LORD’S mercies indeed never cease, for His
compassions never fail. They are new every
morning; Great is Your faithfulness

~Lamentations 3:22-23~

Welcome to Dayton Avenue today – thank you for ending your year here in church.  If you are a first-time guest today, we are very glad you have chosen to worship with us.  Please stop in at the Welcome Desk and get a gift bag with a little loaf of homemade bread inside.  We hope you feel so welcomed that you’ll come back regularly.

Thank you for praying and giving generously to the Lottie Moon Christmas missions offering – we are much closer to our goal of $20,000.  Today is the last Sunday to participate in that special offering.  Praise God for the privilege of supporting the many faithful witnesses to the Gospel around the world in this way.

A few weeks ago I shared a Pastor’s Perspective about some new directions that I believe God wants us to move in this coming year.  If you weren’t here for that, please go to our church website – – and click on the Pastor’s Perspective graphic and listen to it (it’s about 32 minutes long).  Thank you.

There is something motivating about the beginning of a new year: a fresh start, hopeful possibilities, a new chapter.  Our Wednesday evening ministries start back up again this week, and next Sunday we’ll still have just a Single Worship Service at 11:00.

May God bless you abundantly as you live
for Him in this coming year!
