Let us not lose heart in doing good,
for in due time we will reap
if we do not grow weary.

~Galatians 6:9~

Welcome to worship this morning.  You may have had a week that has sapped your strength physically and emotionally.  May God’s promise in the verse above be your experience this morning as we worship Him together, study His Word, and encourage one another.

This is Spring Break week for most of our students, and some in our church family are out of town for a mini vacation.  Quite a few are in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and South America doing spring break mission trips, and eleven of our couples are attending a Marriage Retreat in Tennessee this weekend!  Thank you for being here today – I am excited to see what God has in store for us.

Plan now to attend our Good Friday Service at 7:00pm on March 30th.  There will be several features that will make this service unique.  We will focus on Jesus’ great love and sacrifice for us through music, communion, and live artists painting scenes of the Garden, the Trial, and the Crucifixion.  It will be a special evening.

Next Sunday is the start of the 3rd Worship service which will take place in the Youth Room at 11:00am.  In addition to helping make room for more people, the new service is designed to be more welcoming for those who don’t normally attend church.  You need to check it out so that you will know what you could be inviting your friends to!  It might minister really well to you and your family, too.

Two weeks ago Elizabeth Sled joined our church.  If you haven’t had a chance to welcome her personally, seek her out today.  God is at work here in our church and I feel a sense of excitement that He has even greater plans to work among us in the months ahead.  We love you, we are praying for you, and we are here for you.
