Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. ~Isaiah 41:10

Welcome to Dayton Avenue this morning – we are so glad you are here today.  Our desire is that each of us will be drawn closer to God and strengthened in our faith as we offer Him our sacrifices of praise and worship.

G. Campbell Morgan wrote, “Faith is the answer to a question; and, therefore, it is out of work when there is no question to ask.” Stop and ponder that quote.  When we stop asking questions about God and about His Word, our faith is out of work, or, put another way, we are not growing spiritually anymore.  What faith questions are you wrestling with right now?

We call our small groups “LifeGroups” because they are small communities where people are growing together in their spiritual life, encouraging one another through the challenges and ques-tions of life.  If you haven’t connected with a LifeGroup yet, please see me or stop by the Welcome Desk today – we’re here to help.

The Art of Conversational Evangelism with Bill Babione and the Avenue Kids’ Choir continues this evening at 6:00.  Also, please don’t forget to turn in your nominations for new Deacons before March 22nd.  The guidelines you should follow are in our constitution (which is on our church website under the About Us tab in the What We Believe section).

I often hear other people tell stories on you – good stories about how you have ministered to them and prayed for them.  Your labors of love are appreciated, and your prayers are effective, so please keep them up.  We love you and are praying for you – don’t hesitate to call on us this week.
