God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.
Welcome to the worship service this morning. Our prayer is that each of us is drawn closer to Jesus today. If you are a first-time guest, please make sure you visit the Welcome Center and get a little loaf of homemade bread as well as a guest card. I would greatly appreciate it if you fill out that card and give it to me afterward. We promise not to put you on a mailing list (but I will send you a letter thanking you for your visit).
On the floor of the platform – out toward both ends – are supplies of our church ministry notebooks. Our sermon note pages fit these notebooks, making it easy for you to organize your Bible study materials. You can also use them as a prayer journal, or to include other important information you want to keep handy (the paper punch that creates the right perforations on the edge is available for you in our church office). They are a free resource for you, so if you don’t have one yet, please help yourself to one today.
March 18th is the start of the 3rd Worship service which will take place in the Youth Room at 11:00am. The setting in this service will be more relaxed, with comfortable seating around tables. Would you be willing to try out this new service and help us have a critical mass of participating worshippers (not just spectators)? If you try it, you might discover that you really like it, and so might some of your friends who don’t normally go to church.
One of the inserts in today’s bulletin lists the people who are either on a spring break mission trip this week or who will be going soon. God is using our church family in many wonderful ways, and we are an important part of the team by praying daily for them. May God shine His face on you this week as you walk in His light.
