“The problem with Christianity is not that it has

been tried and found wanting but that it has

been found difficult and left untried.”

~ G. K. Chesterton ~

Welcome to worship at Dayton Avenue today.  Around the world, hundreds of millions of people are gathering together today – like us – to worship our Lord and Savior.  Think for a minute how awesome that really is.

The world around us may be in spiritual darkness, and the majority of the world’s people may be under the power of the adversary, but every Sunday, no matter where on earth he may choose to go, Satan cannot get very far away from the sound of us Christians praising the name of Jesus, our great Savior!  Must drive him crazy!  May that be especially true in our church family this morning.Welcome to worship at Dayton Avenue today.  Around the world, hundreds of millions of people are gathering together today – like us – to worship our Lord and Savior.  Think for a minute how awesome that really is.Welcome to worship at Dayton Avenue today.  Around the world, hundreds of millions of people are gathering together today – like us – to worship our Lord and Savior.  Think for a minute how awesome that really is.

Next Sunday is our Sexual Integrity emphasis with special guests Troy and Melissa Haas.   Details about the morning (and the Leadership Seminar on Saturday) are on the bulletin insert inside.  The Thanksgiving food baskets nomination form is included with the bulletin again this week.  If you know someone that would be encouraged by a food basket, please fill out and turn in the card.  You can also help assemble and deliver the baskets or by making a special gift to our benevolence fund.

Jordan Farley
joined last Sunday as a Watchcare member – make sure you meet and welcome him.  Are you willing to “adopt” some college students and commit to pray regularly for them, encourage them at church and via email/text/FB, and invite them into your home to hang out and have a home-cooked meal?  We aren’t sure how many new Adopters we’ll need, but if you are interested in this ministry, please call into the office this week.
