"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."
Romans 15:13

Hope for the Journey

We invite you to step away from the busyness of everyday life for a weekend set apart to reflect on the hope we have in Christ. Whether you’re in a season of joy, sorrow, transition, or uncertainty, this time is designed to strengthen and encourage you on your journey.

Dr. Kristin DeWitt will guide us as she weaves together her background in psychology and counseling with the truth of God’s Word. Through her teaching, we’ll explore topics such as:

  • Emotions: Can I Trust Them?
  • Hope Through the Seasons of Life
  • Hope Through Depression and Anxiety
  • Hope Through the Process of Forgiveness

Along with rich biblical teaching, the retreat will also allow time for connection and meaningful conversation through shared activities like games, crafts, and hikes. These moments together help us build relationships, encourage one another, and remind us that we don’t walk this journey alone.

FAQ's

Can I come for just one day?

Yes, we have a Saturday only option that starts at 10:00am. The cost for this option is $60.

Will I be refunded if I have to cancel?

Once we give the final numbers to the retreat center on September 10, we cannot make changes. If you find someone to take your spot, we will refund your payment once we receive payment from your substitute.

Are babies welcome?

We understand that some moms may want to bring their infants, so we welcome non-mobile infants – those who are not crawling or walking. Our space is not set up for children, and we want to ensure that everyone has the best experience possible, so we ask that toddlers and mobile babies remain at home. To maintain a quiet environment for all attendees, we respectfully request that anyone with a noisy infant briefly step outside the conference room. Thank you for your understanding!

What if I have to arrive late?

Dinner begins at 5:30 and Session 1 begins at 7:00. If you will be late, please let us know and we will work with the retreat center to ensure you still get dinner.

How much walking is required?

You can walk as little or as much as you want. You can easily drive from the Lodge to the conference rooms for teaching. There is also elevator access in the Lodge.

Can I pick my own roommates?

Absolutely! Just talk to all the ladies, and list each other on the form.
