Jesus, Our Example
September 3 – October 15
Wednesday Evenings
6:30 pm – 7:45 pm
-Led by Diane Hefner
This fall we’ll focus on Jesus and the examples He gave us while He was walking this earth. We’ll spend time together as a group of ladies endeavoring to grow in our Christian life, learning about and loving Jesus more. He is our center, our Savior, the One we worship, our comfort and joy. He is also our example and the One who has shown us how to respond with humility and trust when life offers us challenges.
Philippians 2:6 tells us that Christ, “existed in the form of God,” yet He “took on the form of a bond-servant, and was made in the likeness of men.” He came for many reasons, but one of those was to give us an example of the way we ought to live. We’ll see how, by His presence, the Spirit’s power, and the truth of God’s Word, we can become more and more like Him as we grow in maturity. We’ll look at who Jesus is, who we are, and seek to understand how His examples can be applied to our lives.
