Saturday, March 15

10:00 am - 12:30 pm

The Bible tells us of a woman named Lydia. She was identified as a woman who sold expensive purple cloth. She probably knew how to make beautiful things out of this expensive purple cloth. Throughout Scripture we read accounts of women who used their gifts and talents as an offering of worship to the Lord.

In honor of this woman who put her faith in Jesus, we gather together to teach and learn from one another how to use our gifts and talents to beautify our homes, care for our families, and serve others in the name of Jesus.

This year’s Lydia Ladies event will be a bit different from past year’s events. We are meeting on one day together at church. Various classes will be offered in various rooms on the campus. We will enjoy a fellowship time of coffee and muffins while we make new friends and learn new things.

How it Works – below you will see a list of the various classes that will be offered on this day. Each class lasts for one hour. You will be able to take two classes in the time we have allotted.

  • Determine which classes you are interested in taking. Each class has a size limit. Some classes have a cost in order for the leader to provide you with necessary supplies.
  • Check the box on the form below indicating which classes you are planning to attend.
  • The form will calculate the amount of money you will need to pay for the classes.
  • It is important that you pay, in full, by March 9th so the leader will be prepared with supplies.
  • Payment can be made by cash or check (made out to DABC with Lydia Ladies on the memo line) in person either at the Women’s Ministry board in the Cafe area, or you can place it in the offering plate. Please be sure it is labeled Lydia Ladies.
  • Click on the SUBMIT button at the bottom of this form in order to register for the classes.
  • If you would prefer to register in person, you can sign up at the Women’s Ministry board at church. Someone will be available to answer questions.

It is essential that you register for the classes you want to take so we can plan appropriately.
